Good times... But an interesting thought. Would van Persie have been more or less likely to wanted to remain with the Arsenal if his Holland had actually won the Euros? If he'd had success with his national team, would it have sated him a bit in the desire to win silverware? Of course, the way the Dutch have played thus far, earning a salute from Thumbs Down Guy it is a moot point.
David Moyes is rumored to take over Harry at Spurs. That will be a big blow for Everton FC if he leaves though. Spuds should hire a less likable character a la Mark Hughes or Tony Pulis. Moyes is a good coach and a good guy.
Not comparable. Cesc had a personal connection to Barca beyond winning. He was going to go back regardless of what happened at Arsenal, Barcelona, or the World Cup.
I think moyes is waiting for the utd job, can see villas boas or martinez, maybe they go after bilbaos coach?
Of those, I would see Martinez as a very good choice, but I think he's secure where he is, so why jump.
Oh my lord....thebigman, is gonna print that one, get it laminated, and hang it in his shower! Gotta admit it though, I've always liked him, and have a feeling, that Nick might stay.
If all Bendtner gets is a fine then it was probably worth it. I'm sure he probably made more than they'll fine him.
I wouldnt mind if they get Martinez, but if it is Moyes, then we could be in trouble if they manage to keep most of their players / reinvest the money they make from transfers
As I said yesterday, I guess he's learned one lesson from dropping trou outside of that nightclub. If you're good at something, never do it for free.
One skill that Moyes had at Everton is that he was able to keep most of his players happy. There's seem to be an intense loyalty to him. If he can keep Bale and Modric this summer, he's probably odds on to keep them after they get to know him. Which is good for Spurs...
