Nice work from Dembele and Lamela to feed him.

I think that is our problem, Holtby is adding so much playing deep from a passing standpoint but Dembele is such a strong dribbler. Then on top of that you have Sandro and Paulinho, 4 very different types of players that all deserve to start. A Dembele + Sandro + Holtby midfield 3 would be fantastic IMO

I think Paulinho is vital, Dembele-Sandro-Holtby has nobody who is comfortable getting into the penalty area to challenge for crosses.

In fairness one half each on the left, that's the spot that's still mostly open.

yea i agree, lennon does better on the right than both of them. lamela hasn't done much on the right tho, seems like townsend + lennon for now is our best wing option

wouldn't mind seeing lamela play in the hole where sigurdsson is now

Hmm just Ahnzi so I won’t read too much in to it, but there are signs the much hoped for “gelling” is starting to happen.

Not sure I could be any more tentative if I tried.

it'd be nice, but I can't see it based upon that. no team in the prem will play off us like that.
