here we go again. file your don't weaken our chances in the league! and I wanna win something, no matter how shit! proclamations here. anyway, it's a quick jaunt down to Georgia for Dinamo Tbilisi in the first round of the Europa league - first leg away on the 22nd (anyone going?*fnar*), and home on the 29th. i'll take a three goal cushion coming back to the lane, please and thank you. this will be our 7th European campaign in the last 8 seasons. critics will note that the one season in the last eight in which we were not in Europe is the one time that we actually did qualify for the champions league (though if robben had made his effing penalty ...). anyway, get through dinamo and we're into the group stage. six more Thursday night games against the most prestigious clubs in eastern Europe (and some mediocre ones to the west) - guaranteed! let the good times roll! I like this tournament, and would absolutely love to ... blah, blah, blah ... you've heard it all before. COME ON YOU EUROPEAN PEDIGREED SPURS!!
We need to do pretty well in it to keep our coefficient up. Otherwise if we do get CL, we'd be ********ed with hard draws. Have to say looking at the squad we are putting together... could give it a real go at winning this time without suffering as much in the league.
So for those of us living in the USA, how the hell do we watch this match? It doesn't look like Fox Sports 1 is even covering the Europa League...

you would think so but there are no Europa League matches showing on Thursday on any channel for any team...
Only from next season though. A good decision, although pretty much all the recent winners have ended up qualifying for CL that season anyway.
