Spring soccer still alive. NCAA keeping it for now.

Did I miss something? I know that in November eliminating the Spring season was on the table but I thought that it was vetoed?

I thought that they kept spring soccer, but eliminated any foreign trips. Which I thought affected basketball as well.

The ban on foreign travel was recommended by committee and was voted down by the membership so nothing changed......this time

This may be another frustrating year for Wake Forest unless they can find a way to score. Hopefully the incoming class will contribute significantly because sean Okoli will not be a consistent answer for them. For returning 11 starters they did not dominate northwestern like they should have. possession was relatively even and I would honestly say northwestern had the better chances at goal.

Does anyone know the results of the College Cup this past weekend with Michigan, Oakland, Lindsey Wilson, and Notre Dame?

Have watched Okoli play for years starting at about U13. He plays very inconsistently. When he is "on" he is quite good but you never know what you are going to get.

It was learned at the games that UC Davis Freshman Matt Weisenfarth has been invited to the USSF U-20 training camp next week. Weisenfarth led the Aggies in scoring the 2011 season with 5 goals and 3 assists.
