He sits up and wins. Sagan wins the sprint for second place, ahead of Roelandts, 1:26 behind Cancellara.
UCI_Overlord 11:13am via Web I'm completely and thoroughly disgusted with the antics of Sagan. Inexcusable podium behaviour. SatanSagan continues his bad behaviour. Personally, the podium girl tradition is a bit outmoded anyway.
UCI_Overlord1:38pm via Web Seems Mr. Sagan will be live via Belgian TV at 925 on "een" to apologize shortly. Good for him to man up and do the apology. ------ https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10201101264360053 vid apology
Maja and Peter will meet again (possibly) during the Brabantse Pijl. Not inconceivable that Sagan will make another podium and she will be the podium girl there. Would be fun if she made some sort of statement.
It seems the common denominator is Cancellara. Maybe he's the one behind all this. Perhaps Sagan lost a bet or something.
Perhaps he really wants to grab Spartacus' crotch and project these feelings onto the podium miss' posterior?
Scheldeprijs Looks like he is up, but Cancellara took a fall. Cuts and bruises, but looks like he is coping with it alright.
And then he crashed during P-R recon http://velonews.competitor.com/2013/04/news/cancellara-crashes-during-paris-roubaix-recon_280639 hmmm...he still has to be the odds on fave, but just maybe, a bit too roughed up?
Tom Boonen sustained a fractured a rib in his Ronde van Vlaanderen crash, his Omega Pharma-Quick Step team has confirmed. Read more: http://www.velonation.com/News/ID/14297/Fractured-rib-for-Tom-Boonen-operation-for-Dries-Devenyns-on-broken-arm.aspx#ixzz2PW6THVBb
I'd say that this makes it even more likely that Spartacus will ride away from the field again and win. I'm hoping perhaps Sagan or Phinney (pretty please?) will challenge him. I'd really love to see Phinney podium.
I would give that good odds...even as he will not be a protected rider for the race as well. Or at least as of last week he wasn't.
