Sporting vs Toronto Saturday 8/18 3:30pm p/i/p [R]

Hey we didn't have a midweek game, to deal with after 8 weeks with one. Team is training in Toronto tomorrow and Friday ahead of the game Saturday afternoon.

We'd better get all 3 points. I find it unlikely that Philly beats DC at RFK, and I dont see a well traveled Portland beating NY at RBA.

Curious as to whether Espinoza sits. It might be a good idea to give him an extended break till we host NY, 8/26.

TFC on the road then three straight home games over the next month, with a week off in the mix. I am hoping we get at least 10 points from this little stretch while teams like DC and Columbus make up some games in hand, though I think we are capable of taking all 12. As usual, an early goal will do us some good in this one. TFC has had quite a few injuries to their D and a lot of call-ups midweek. Hopefully they are more tired than we are and we can take advantage.

They also played last night, although SKC has not had much luck this season against teams on short rest.

PV made it sound like Espinoza and Besler would start. Not sure about Zusi. No start for Jacob Peterson for sure though

This is a very winnable game against a poor team who just played midweek, and we've been playing really well over the last couple of weeks.

Oh, we just haven't won in Toronto since 2007 and all, however, TFC hasn't won against us in Toronto since 09 either. Would I be shocked to see the third season in a row of 0-0 result of KC@TFC? Not at all.
