I have last years home jersey, everyone knows what it looks like so I wont post a pic, my avós bought it in portugal for me cause its really hard to get it in Canada, something to do with Puma and shipping. Does anyone know good places where I can buy sporting jerseys in the toronto area?
You can get them from the Sporting on-line shop, but the shipping they charge is insane! So, until they decide to change that (I know some people who work in that department, I will ask them about shipping charges to overseas), your best option remains ebay or other on-line shops. This is probably not the answer you wanted, but it's the best short-cut right now... I don't understand why they didn't bring shirts for sale, they did it in the stay in Holland the week before that!
se vous play sports on orfus road had the tradition green and white sporting jerseys, not sure if they still do. portugal mix on duddas east of ossignton has sporting gear. worldsoccershop.com is a good web site too. also, if you go to galleria mall on a saturday, theres a guy who sells portuguese jerseys on saturdays, he's decent priced. i remember buying the pink benfica rui costa jersey for 80 bucks for a friend one day there.
The shipping costs stated in the Sporting Lisbon official internet shop are horrendous; but, I know from someone who did it, and then I asked the people in the physical shop at the stadium that I know (being a shirt collector, of course I know the people in the physical shop), if you send them an email to LojaVerde@Sporting.pt they will actually charge just the simple shipping at regular prices. The official on line shop is this one: http://www.sporting.pt/loja/loja_index.asp (I think it's only in Portuguese, but you can navigate the menus to see the items and then send an email to them for cost)
if you ask them for sizes and models that are not in the on line shop they probably can help you - the on line shop has a lot less than the physical one! For instance, they have some older models (I think the away kit of 09/10 and some 09/10 training shirts and jackets) at very low stock-off prices, and last year's kits, at reduced prices.
Very nice, I take it you bought it from Loja Verde? Do they sell the GK shirts? I've been looking for one for ages.
yups, I bought in the Loja Verde at Alvalade, when I got there the player issue home jerseys were almost sold out, they only had a XXL, and these ones they only had S and XL (I'm an L), so I got the XL - maybe I'll put on the pounds in the future, anyway it's for the collection. They're all sold out now. They didn't sell player issue gk shirts, not that I know! If you just want a regular gk jersey, you can use that email I gave in a post above, it goes directly to the Loja Verde people and I think they may be able to arrange cheaper shipping than the official website states.

My In-Laws arrived home from Lisbon last wednesday, they brought all the usual spoils, but also a Sporting "training shirt", I thought it'd be the black one we usually wear...no it's the 2011/12 away jersey. Now I have the home (Schaars) and away (blank). I'd love to get Elias on it, but it'd be impossible to get the official printing. Anyways, Nunoni, thanks for the heads up, I'm going to email loja verde and try to hook up a GK kit. I don't need player issue, just something I can wear on the field to represent Sporting CP when I play.

this, I am not 100% sure about the player, but it is a number 7 Sporting Lisbon match worn in 1994/95, where almost always Figo had that number! So it's probably his shirt
this one I am particularly proud of: it's a training shirt from Naide Gomes, the olympic athlete. It was given to me by her and it is signed and dedicated!
a very rare shirt: Le Coq Sportif 1984/85, theonly season where we had shirts with the Sporting Lion on the right side of the chest, otherwise it is always overt the heart. This one is a match worn by Litos, that was his first year with the main team, he was still a U21
Wow, do you own this or was this a picture sent to you by someone else? I'd love to be able to get a hold of a Europa League game-worn, either home or the black (away/third/fourth?)
I also have this one, worn by Marcelo against Lazio in Rome 14 December 2011 (we lost), group phase. This Marcelo one is already with me, the Xandão one I just payed and am waiting for it to arrive, that is the seller's pic. Ebay is a possibility, but often a bad one, there are many fakes and you really need to check and double check. But, after collecting for a while, each collector develops contacts and a network. There are many shirts around, the question is the price asked... some people want to get rich with a shirt.
