the desert friendlies are like ramadan or chinese new year for him. i sure as hell know what it's like to go long stretches without live MLS action, and am more than happy giving him the benefit of the doubt in any forum but rivalries around this time of year.

What's "offsides"? I don't see that word anywhere in the laws of the game...

socjoc and Buzz Killington repped this.

It's a pre-season game, who cares about winning and losing? It's more about how the players played overall then winning and losing.

Whu? Are you saying Jimmy was subbed off because he said a goal was offside? If so that's wicked retawded.

Hope you don't believe that. PV has given all 3 keepers around 30 minutes per game so far. The sub likely happened during a break in the action.

Oh, hell no, I don't believe that. It's ridiculous, to even think that, which I guess I didn't convey so clearly. ;)

well we at least won, although the injuries aren't something to be too happy about. Hopefully the Myers injury is just a small knock. The injury to Saad is a little scary though, he was down for like 20 minutes or something

yup, seems like he doesn't really have a good head on his shoulders. not what i want from someone who's supposed to pull the strings from midfield.

his tackles seem clumsy and often more petty than tactical. he'd make a terrible mediano, but that's not what he's in the midfield for.

which could be even more damning - refusal to stick to the role in which the coach wants you to play.

Not sure how reliable this source is on Twitter, but @MLSTransfers posted this right after the USA-Honduras game yesterday:

I loved the "CJ Meets Miss Teen Kansas USA" post from the club this evening. She's been friends with my daughter since grade school, a really sweet kid.

Is my Spanish rusty or is that saying the news came from Sporting's twitter account? I just did a quick check and I see nothing about that in Sporting's twitter feed
