didn't watch the game, but will comment on Ricardo...typical lampiao...

The turkey was by the U.Leiria keeper.

The final result was 2-1 for Sporting but the linesman missed a goal for U.Leiria....alot of ink will be wasted writing about this game.

Sporting won but didn't play well....Sa Pinto looks lost in the midfield....i know he is an icon for Sporting fans but for how long will you turn a blind eye for a guy that has not enough gas to keep up with Nani and J.Moutinho. He is a liability.

Nani is trully a star...this kid has a great future ahead of him.

P.Bento still has alot of work ahead of him.

By the way if you want a Lampiao comment ,here goes one....Make sure you buy the ref and the linesman a good dinner,for that scandolous goal that only a blind man doesnt see it....It must be the system.........

Not yet,were still trying to get the ball from the back of the net...Once we do ,than the whole world can see ,and we will have a fundraiser to buy the ref and the linesman a top notch EYE DOCTOR....

Yeh. I agree. The linesman and refe were constantly rubbing their eyes during the game.They need help. The best thing for them is to see a "Pediatric Optometrist" asap.

They also missed the fact that Maciel was offside at the beggining of that play and they didn't see Felicio's fall on Moutinho was a deliberate intent to injure (thus a red card) amongts numerous bad calls throughout the game.

That being said, you can't make an error like that and still be allowed to dress up every couple of sundays, run around amongts men and play with your whistle.

Sporting usually is on the wrong end of these calls. Over the last couple of games the ref's must at least one sure penalty in our favor, maybe more.

One thing is for sure, Ricardo becomes the only goalie to make the save "num golo feito" (Baia's save last year vs Benfica was inconclusive to me).Maybe thats what Scholari seems in him,Now if he could only make standard saves more regularly...

Hey finally I get a break, and get to voice my opinion.

Everyone agrees that it was a goal, was it possibly a offside previous? we don't the camera didn't show you. Thta would've made it 1-1, and Sporting could've done much better had they counted the goal.

Nani was spectacular, just needs to work on, having more hunger to score, and his finishing.
Moutinho was the main man controlling the attack, great game.

Polga what the hell is he doing there, use Semedo or Garcia if Tonel is still not in game condition.

Sa Pinto needs to assume his role as bench player, and let Martins get back into game shape.

Douala his totally lost, and has no confidence in playing. Still can't believe he got such a high rating. Yeah beat the with his speed, but what comes after, a pass to the opponents. Pinilla would have been abetter option, and play with a 2 man up front, because Liedson was to lonely up there.
