it would have been very harsh if Sporting tied...they played very well. It could have easily been 2-0 or even 3-0. Also izmailov surprised me he played well and seemed to b everywhere.
Lets also give credit to Patricio for a game winning save. Pongolle almost had an own goal if it wasnt for Rui.

What do you expect when Leixoes parked the bus with 10 players defendind in their own half, and a hot keeper. Our team plays a basic build possesion game, not a countering style. The space gets limited, and defensive teams can hold up for most part of the game. Postiga should have put away the free header in the first half, and then Leixoes would have to open up, and the score would have been diferent. Pongelle didn't play to bad, he had a nice move inside the box, and it took the Leixoes keeper to come up with another big save, the keeper BTW was on fire. Pereira was pretty good, and showed he's got his heart in the club.
Pretty good? I thought he played fantastic. For me i think he won over abel for RB. He has skill and is able to move up and down quickly. Problem with abel was that he didn't really go up and provide any support for attacking plays.
I think there is some kind of conspiracy against Leixões. They get at least one player ejected just about every game. Somebody wants them in the second division. I feel bad for Helder Postiga. I think we have to remember that even Liedson only has 4 Liga goals this year. Nao dissitas, Helder!!!
Listen he isn't doin anything and never waz. this isn't about Porto, Benfica or Sporting. And i didn't want 2 say this but out of all the other presidents he is the best 1. and i am not just sayin this because i like porto but its true. He finds these players no1 wants and makes them stars at Porto. This doesn't mean that all the other presidents r bad its just he knows alot about soccer and other presidents just take the position because they have money, which isn't a bad thing. So i know alot of ppl out their hate PDC and thats their opinion. And of course he is accused of doing all this "evil" but its never true. And i am not attackin at any club.
