Just wondering if anyone here is or knows anyone of Spanish descent living in Toronto? I've met a grand total of 2 people who both were half Spanish and half South American and my cousin knows of 1 Spanish family but for the most part there aren't any Spanish immigrants here in Canada that I know of.

You might want to try the Spanish consulate. Embassies and consulates sometimes maintain lists of local residents fromt the mother country. I doubt they would give you the list, but you may be able to go to some events the consulate sponsors, where you can meet some local Spaniards.

Here's a web site that provides contact information for the consulate in Toronto.

Not that I want to meet them or anything just there is a lack of Spanish community here compared to pretty much any other nation I could think of.

On TV they showed a bar with a lot of Spanish fans but a lot looked South American which is fine but I don't understand why the community isn't visible.

Get this my neighbor 3 doors down put a Spanish Flag I asked if he was actually from Spain and he was go figure

There's a big Spanish community in Montreal and a sizable one in Ottawa. Some are born outside the country and work/study here (like myself), some are first-generation Canadian with some Portuguese and/or Latin American mixed in.

But yeah, during the Euros, the pub we went to could've easily been mistaken for a Spanish terraza. A bunch of old Spanish ladies commandeered the kitchen and made churros in it.

I think you're just not looking in the right place. I have a lot of spanish friends, they are here on work study programs with the spanish consulate. Through them i met spanish that are here interning as newspaper writers and through them I met some other spanish who were just studying, so on and so on.

The great thing, is that they spanish faces recirculate every 6 months or so, because the program finishes and a new set of spaniards come in...

I threw a going away party for two spanish friends back in October, I had 30+ spaniards there. it was awesome. Most are from Madrid, although I met one as far away from the Canary islands.

They are all really cool. Definetly changed my mind set. I always thought the spanish women are very stuck up...but once you warm up to them they are very cool ;)
