Come on Mata, that should have been the 2nd (as well)

Silva & Xabi have been excellent with their passes. I thought both Beñat and Albiol have looked good too.

I thought Silva's movement was great and that through ball for Monreal deserved a goal.

our defense is terrible.. a team like italy will easily take advantage.
and pique will prolly make it worse... I dont see how we can do well with out a half defense in the back.

Well with Xavi, Iniesta, and Busquets back we will keep the ball better. Plus Pique is much better on the ball than Ramos or Albiol so there won't be as many giveaways from the center.
But the back 4 out there currently would be torn apart by a decent team.

have you seen Pique recently? He is very slow and always looks disjointed and uninterested.

Reina can't jump to save his life. Monreal just stains the Spain team's image.

    Beñat is so good.

Korea's goal was great, hats off to them.

Well then we are in real trouble. Although having Busquets in front of them will help (Beñat hasn't been bad though).

Surely you aren't blaming Reina for that goal are you? It was a fantastic shot.

No one could have saved that shot, Reina did well. Discussing it is also pointless since he will not play 1 minute.
    Beñat is awesome.

I already said Korea's goal was great. Reina still can't jump. Let's enjoy some classic footage of the amazing Pepe Reina:

Thanks for putting your hands in front of the shot. Xabi scores the penalty. 2-1

Cool taken penalty. Take notice, Ramos.

As much as I think Alonso ruins Spain's fluidity when all the Barcelona players are there, he and Beñat seem to be almost made for each other, I love how they link up.

    Potential plan B right there

If you're going to make hands, do it within the penalty area por favor. :D

Santi Cazorla is awesome, quite an under rated player, he will play anywhere you tell him to and he will do it with all the heart, passion and cojones possible.

Well Beñat is much more mobile so that compliments Alonso fairly well.

    3-1

Negredo had a nice open goal there. The guy is so stiff, he can barely move his ass when he's got the ball.

The tall, power heading, super sub role is already occupied by Llorente.

I think this is the first time I've ever agreed with Tommy Smith (his opinion about Torres).

That Korean should have scored there, Albiol who I still think had a good game with some fine interceptions in the 1st half....but some of his passing like the one that created this chance is worrysome.
