The Brazilian federation has cancelled the intended friendlies against Italy and Spain that they had confirmed a few weeks ago. Brazil has now (apparently) scheduled games against Costa Rica, Mexico and Gabon for September, October and November.
Spanish federation never had any mention of a potential friendly against Brazil.

There will likely be friendlies on the November FIFA dates (Nov 11th through 15th) because those dates are reserved for EURO qualifying playoffs. Spain is on course to win the group and directly qualify so those playoff dates will be open and at least one game (probably two) will be scheduled. Against who is anyone's guess, I just hope they're not long journeys outside of Europe.

They more then likely will play one of the other teams in Europe who qualified and will also have an open date.

    Yes, very likely.
A few friendlies involving European teams have already been scheduled:

    November 11:
    Ukraine - Germany

    November 15:
    Liechtenstein -Estonia
    Germany - Holland
    Ukraine - Austria

South America will be in full World Cup qualifying mode except for Brazil who have scheduled friendlies :)confused:)

    November 11/12:
With Brazil playing Gabon, Peru is the odd team out of CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying.

    November 15/16:
With Brazil possibly playing either England or Switzerland, Uruguay would be the odd team out of CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying.

Spain v Uruguay would be a nice friendly, hopefully played in Spain or elsewhere in Europe.
