if the top teams in all of south america joined into one superleague they would be able to compete with the top leagues in europe due to the huge TV contracts they would get.

    Brazil
    1. Flamengo
    2. Fluminese
    3. Corinthians
    4. Santo
    5. Internacional
    6. Sao Paolo
    7. Palmieras
    8. Vasco De Gama
    Argentina
    1. Boca Juniors
    2. River Plate
    3. Estudiantes
    4. Independiente
    5. Racing Club
    6. Velez Sarsfield
    Uruguay
    1. C.A. Penarol
    2. Nacional
    Paraguay
    1. Cerro Porteno
    2. Olimpia
    3. Libertad
    Ecuador
    1. LDU Quito
    2. El Nacional
    3. Barcelona S.C.
    Chile
    1. Universidad De Chile
    2. Colo-Colo

24 teams. since there would be no need for a Copa Liberdatores they would play 46 games. and have playoffs. the Recopa sudamerica would mean more because it would have the winner of the superleague vs the winner of a new Copa sudamerica.

We don't need to compete with top leagues in Europe, Libertadores and Sudamericana is already more entertaining. They could keep their money, we'll stay with the beautiful game.

Yes but today Barca gave Santos a lesson in intensity. We must reach this.Argentinas league deal for 2012 now is 200 million euro 900 million pesos. If these figures keep moving in fhis direction and the Libertadores sponsorship too however we will soon compete with Europe and still have far more competitive competition

Barca has been giving europe a lesson in intensity for the past 3 seasons

the EPL champs have been made to look like chumps in two finals and Real Madrid a high spending club has yet to figure them out

they are a special team and are not an indication of the true level of Europe

ok, if we now want a SASL South American Superleague/South American Soccer league, it must use the USA leagues system, NFL specialy, 32 teams to 300.000.000 people, here we are 400.000.000 fans = 40 teams
    alphabetic orden
4 argentinians: Boca Junions, Belgrano de Cordoba, Godoy Cruz de Mendoza, Rosario Central.
1 bolivian... from El Alto or el llano?
20 Brazilian the current 20 in first division
    2 chilenians,
    4 colombian Cali, Bogota, Medellin
    2 ecuadorians, Quito and Guayaquil
    1 paraguay gift...
    3 peruvians...
    3 venezuelan...
    total 40 teams
In 4 zones of 10 teams, South (4 argentos, 1 paraguay 2 chile 3 brazilian), East (10 brazilians) North (3 vene, 4 colomb 3 brazil) and West (2 ecu, 3 peru, 1 boliv and 4 braz), everybody play home and away in his zone, 18 games and 1 game against the 2 zones more near 20 games, 38 games regular season,
the 4 best of each zone go to the 16 teams playoff.
example Boca Junior of South zone, 18 games against his 9 teams zonebros and 10 games against west zone teams and others 10 games against East zone teams, total 38 regular season games.
