Which country has been the most successful in the South American Championships / Copa America from 1916?

Which club has one the most Copa Libatadores Finals since 1960?

Find out by referencing the South American page of my football stats & trivia web site, where you can find a wealth of information and facts about football in South America and from the rest of the world:

    Then in the 2nd half MU 5 - Tott 2 ????

I was watching the game and decided to take a shower, thinking that it was over... I could not believe my eyes when I got back from the shower and it was MU 5, Tott 2 ?!?!?!?!?!

    How can that be??

"Bloody" officating played a huge role, imho.
The PK was "questionable" (and I am being generous with that).
And in the play that led to the game-tying goal 2-2, Modric was clearly fouled (upended) by the Brazilian RB (I always get Fabio and Rafael mixed up but it was one of the two).

There go my Liverpool's shot at the title, I guess. :(

I agree- that was not a penalty and Gomes was very mad at the referee...

I'm in the process of upgrading the information on my World Leagues page on my football stats web site.

The entries for both Brazil and Argentina now have the current League tables, as well as all the previous League winners.

    http://www.myfootballfacts.com/WorldLeagues.html

All the major countries in South America, as well as those in Central America and the NASL/MLS from North America, have their own dedicated entries.
