I just got a new VAOI and my Play-station 3 reads it. Let's say I am on VIDEO on the PS3 menu and it says Netflix, Play-station Store, Video Editor Up-loader and a few others and CrisVaio with a logo that says Windows Media Player. However, when I click on this, I get a MSG that states Access to the media server is not allowed. It is possible that the system name for this PS3system has not been registered. Check the settings for the media server. Ok...but how do I register. Anyone done this before? Can I stream stuff from the laptop to the TV now without an s cable? This would be so great with footy matches. Help.
I'm guessing you've tried to google the error message? I just did and it appears that some people had the same question.
Not to sound like a smart-ass, but "googling the error message" is a good first step when you don't know what else to do. Obviously, don't try the first solution you come across, but read through several sites and try to come up with an "average" solution. If a lot of people say "do this" but only one or two people say "do that", then do what more people suggest.
