It has nothing to do with being pretentious, I just think it's better to be original. While there are some similar songs sung by fans of different teams, for the most part fans of different teams make their own original songs.

I'm a fan of the Revs first and foremost. I don't want to sing Newcastle songs at Revs games, or Man U or Liveprool or Rangers songs for that matter. I want to sing Revs songs, songs that we made ourselves.

Years of being told you ain't as good as us
Join the line, sign your name
And they all said that our team's going bust
    But no-one's fooling us again

    New England belong's to me
A region's pride the dirty water on the rivers
No one can take away our memory
Oh, New England belongs to me

We'll show the world that the boys are back to stay
And you all know what we can do
Heads held high, fighting all the way
For the red, white, and blue

    [Chorus]

    [Chorus Repeat...]

I've been suggesting that for years. I think that the Rev Army guys started that once last year. I sang along... no one else did though.

what do you care what we sing/chant in the fort now, i thought you weren't coming to anymore games because you don't want to financially support the revs

EDIT: although that is a pretty funny chant

This one might be a little controversial, and as I don't personally know the Casbah or their reputation, I think it's funny:

Shalrie-e-e don't like 'em, f**k the Casbah, f**k the Casbah

Only to be used against San Jose of course, and more in good fun than starting a rivalry against the supporters. If people object to it's use, I fully understand why.
