Didn't he retire not too long ago? Or was that Lee Eulyong?

The class of '02 is getting old...

im sad that he didnt get a lucrative career like PJS did.
i seriously thought that he was one of the best performers at the 2002 WC

It's really a shame. Definitely one of the top performers in 02. He had women troubles and got divorced and his performance suffered during that period. Never truly recovered from that... Don't know what his demons were unlike other underperformers like LCS.

Just Song Chong-Guk? I thought Yoo Sang-Chul and Lee Eul-Yong did a good job too.

This man completely embarrassed Luis Figo all night long back in June 2002. I thought he would become the first Korean footballer to join the squad of Real Madrid. It is indeed a shame that he couldn't sustain his success into European stage like PJS and LYP did due to personal issues.

Wish him nothing but best of luck in the future.

Definitely one of our best players in 2002. He played full time in every single game. The dude was a freak and never got tired. Such a pity it all went down hill for him. I often wonder what would have happened to him if Hiddink took him to PSV.
