Looks like a much needed site, and something I'll check out regularly. I think Sid Lowe also often complains about the media imbalance in covering the big two, which he half-heartedly does to satisfy his outsider audience. But you can tell his real joy is in writing about the lesser known teams. His most recent article on Rayo is a work of brilliant journalism.
Awww, Santos Laguna's Felipe Baloy poses with a young fan... Child: "Can you look at your comic book?"
Didn't know where to put this but is it true that **Falcao & Adrian **will miss tomorrows game with the flu ??
Cholo Simeone has included their names in his list of 'convocados' for tomorrow's game, but yes, they are struggling with the flu. http://www.marca.com/2012/04/10/futbol/equipos/atletico/1334078928.html
their 2 best players no less, It would really suck if they dont play because of this, i thought this time they might have a chance.
Anyway, Miranda, Mario Suarez and Eduardo Salvio are all suspended for this match and Antonio Lopez and Silvio are out injured apparently !! Do Atletico have any chance of winning now ??
Don't really care about them winning. Just a tie would be very nice If it doesn't happen tomorrow the only other game I see it happening is against Bilbao.
lol! I got a chance to meet Baloy after a Monterrey/Xolos friendly about 5 years ago... no comic books, unfortunately.
Damn.. I hope Diego really steps up in this game. They are gonna need him if they want to get a result with all those abscences
dam somany important games today *_* 18:00 Borussia Dortmund -- : -- Bayern Munich 18:45 Juventus -- : -- SS Lazio 20:00 Atletico de Madrid -- : -- Real Madrid CF wish i could watch all of them , but it seems i can only watch some parts since they get mixed up after the first half , ill be cheering for bayern ( love thier game style and some of thier players ) , juve ( not fair for a team that hasnt lost a single game to lose the league ) and orfcourse atletico
Most of the time I find myself cussing at Yahoo for having the stupidest stories on their front page. But every once in a while they have some funny football stuff. Muntari gives his jersey to the Chievo ball boy after the game, and the ball boy tries to give it back to him. Talk about team loyalty. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=er9vNQhNDmw"]Raccattapalle rifiuta la maglia di Muntari HD - YouTube[/ame]
^^^ How funny, I read that same story just now. But I also like to read the comments below each article (they're hilarious) and one guy posted this... "Story should be updated. Turns out the boy is a Milan fan and he couldn't accept the shirt per a Chievo rule for the ballboys not to interfere with postmatch and accept jersyes. The kid has the jersey now." Another person seemed to confirm it, so now people are harping on the blogger for being too quick in trying to get the story out. Crazy.
Similar - I'll be rooting for Atletico - of course; for Juve for once - don't like them but I've decided Zlatan's streak needs to end (not the CL frustration one but the 9 league titles one - ignoring the Juve vacated titles post season); BUT Dortmund - much lower budget, there will be plenty of time to root for Bayern in the CL.
i lold so hard on this one http://izismile.com/2012/04/11/hilarious_psycho_soccer_player.html wonder which league was that
Radio MARCA reporting this as Atletico's confirmed starting lineup... Courtois, Juanfran, Perea, Godín, Filipe Luis, Gabi, Tiago, Diego, Arda Tura, Adrián, Falcao
