Berg might be sold. Rudneves will start on top this weekend.

SHM vs beister for rw with juracek possibly in th hole. I imagine shm will be on the bench

Neither beister or SHM. With VdV nearing, SHM will be hoping for a Berg sale to get a crack both at a better position and off the bench.

I guess he practiced in the hole with Jiracek playing DM alongside Baldelj with Westermann moving to the back line.

EDIT: HSV.de says he will play on right with Ilicevic playing behind Rudnevs. With Bruma (!) playing behind SHM.

Looks like VDV to HSV is going to go through. Sylvie VDV will be pleased since she's based in Hamburg.

With an actual playmaker, it'll be much less painful to watch HSV.

They also have Baldelj so hopefully pans out well.

Sadly one less spot to play for SHM.

EDIT: but its Ilo who's dumped to the bench first (I guess German radio thinks Ryan Babel may be on the way too):

Is anyone even watching? Seems like all the attention was on Koo and waiting for Ki to make his debut.

I only watched a bit with my internet in flux but I apparently watched his two good plays, a nice pass that released Rudnevs, and a nice 1-2 with Ilo where Ilo's pass back was a hair poor and allowed the defender back in the play. From what it seems, the remainder of the match he was not so good.

Even though his performances on the pitch have been bad, one of the backup goalkeepers, Neuhaus, was apparently very complimentary of SHM after some criticism after the match from the abendblatt writers:

I guess the question is if its the crappiness of the team, his own mental blocks, or what thats causing the gap.

Even with the defensive woes, I can't see them getting relegated with Rafael van der vaart on the team.

I think he'll do wonders for the team but I still don't trust the forwards on the this team to do anything useful with those chances..... :) But yea, it'll probably be pretty hard to get relegated with a player like van der vaart.
