So Germans pronounce "birthday" "bus-day" also? I love it.

Edit: I was wrong. He did get a pa-ma afterall.

Played a half but didn't score in a 10-0 win... He might have been in the wing with Jansen hurt.

There is actually a German version of the song which goes something like "zum geburtstag viel gluck" etc etc but I guess the English version is accepted too haha! (geburtstag = bus-day ;) )

Apparently a napkin is all you need in pre-season... he was on the left.

I wonder how you say "WTF is this sh!t???" in Turkish? Or German. I'm guessing Arslan fans in Germany and Turkey are having the same reaction to the photo as we are.

Tor! Berg trifft zum 1:0 (16.). Schöne Vorarbeit durch Jansen und Son. jw
Goal! Berg scores for 1-0 (16). Beautiful groundwork by Jansen and Son

    Mopo has similar running commentary
    http://www.mopo.de/hsv/der-erste-pr...stet-gegen-terek-grosny,5067038,16592474.html

12 Minute: dream goal for HSV! 1:0 by Marcus Berg! Marcell Jansen duped on the left side of opponent Jiranek (former Czech national player), his flank shall Heung Min Son wonderful mountain and onto the Swede scored the deserved lead.-

24 Minute: Sun sets on nearly 3-0, but his shot missed the target slightly
I'll let you figure out what this translation means...

28 Minute: Westermann on Sun, but the awards.

And at 68 minutes, it ends due to storm and darkness

SHM was on the whole time while Berg/Lam/Skjelbred were taken off at 55.

59 Minute: Finally back to HSV-chance: Son misses just to the left.

SHM appears to be setup to be utility sub across all four offensive spots. Given the lack of quality and/or established wingers, he can play there as he has during pre-season.

Paulo Guerrero will most likely be sold to fund a VdV move. So SHM may be battling Arslan for backup 10 spot, and Berg for backup 9.

So lots of backup options and the outside possibility of being loaned after the Peace Cup. He's very popular if you checkout HSV's facebook plus marketing so I'd think HSV would prefer not to go that route.

And to clarify he has a strong possibility of starting on the right wing. On the left in Jansen who is very pedestrian but he's one of the few experienced and established plus a decent defender. On the right though is Tore, who Fink seemed to have issue with last year, and Beister who is a raw player who had a decent time at BL2 but faded at the end and is unclear if ready for BL1.

Maybe there's more to his playing on the wing to make room for VdV

    From espn:
Now arneson has to go beg kuehne for some spare change...

Wow. I guess he wanted to be closer to home with Serie A teams reportedly interested?
