Finally the true soccer is arriving in the most important city in the world. It is absolutely incredible the number of news about the possible soccer teams and soccer stadiums linked to N.Y. After many years, now seems that everyone wishes a soccer stadium ( Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau Country ) and there is the serious chance to have 2 teams in the NYC / Long Island area ( NYCFC in MLS and Cosmos in NASL ). And is it necessary don't forget that also the Mets wish to see an MLS NYC team to play at Citi Field and this be an ideal solution as temporary stadium.
Great times for soccer in NYC !!!!

Well, it could be. I highly doubt that we'll see three teams in NYC any time remotely soon. I wouldn't say no to it... heck, a few more teams there and SKC will get to move back to the Western conference. But seriously, it would be great to see the city supporting that level of soccer commitment.

It would be only 1 in NYC : The NYCFC in Queens. The NJ Red Bulls are in NJ and the Cosmos are in L.I.

It's fun speculation but it's way too early to get excited. The Cosmos are baffling people right now.

Long way to go in this saga for sure - agree - way to early to come to any conclusions but as Napoli stated - a lot of good things happening - but the fans should also grab popcorn and sit back - going to be a lot more twists
