THAT would be a good thread. SOB Must see films... Caddyshack Fever Pitch (British Version with Colin Firth) Victory (Frank Stallone's brother in the cage)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest Fight Club Apocalypse Now- "I love the smell of napalm in the morning."
1) "Playboy: Girls of World Soccer" 2) Every Monty Python film plus this little gem, just so we would be able to better relate to the fans of New York Red Balls: The Boy Who Cried Bitch
Trainspotting I also want to reiterate seeing Fever Pitch (the original version), it's a tragedy that they allowed Jimmy Fallon and the Red Sox nation to crap all over a great premise when they remade it.
Eh, subpar, mediocre at best... honestly the Goal! movie series is probably more entertaining, albight corny... What's the name of that documentary where they have 30 cameras on Zidane for an entire Real Madrid game? It played at some film fests this summer (not Philly) and I read some reviews, not sure if it's released yet...
Mean Machine (the British remake of The Longest Yard starring Vinny Jones and Jason Statham) Shaolin Soccer
2nd the notion on Snatch, great flick... Zoolander anyone? Once in a Lifetime - the Cosmos documentary Hey Dillon, where did you find that?
I think I've seen the Cosmos documentary. Was that on ESPN sometime last year? It made me hate Chinaglia more than I did from his 06 World Cup coverage.
