Last week, the first leg of the Czech Cup SF between Slavia Prague and Sigma Olomouc was called off due to a fan invasion of the pitch. A select few then started to destroy what they could, and even tried to get into the VIP section. As a result, Sigma was awarded a 3-0 victory (they won the second leg 1-0 to advance to the final against Mlada Boleslav).

Slavia now has to pay a fine of 750,000kc, and they must play three games behind close doors (the final two this year, and one at the start of next season).

In related news, they have also been denied a professional license, which they will appeal, but they could find themselves in the 3rd division next season.
