    Hi,

I have a problem and I hope some of you guys can help me resolve it. Whenever I play with shinguards I have a huge sore pain on my lower part of my shins. I don't have this pain when i dont play with shinguards. I'm not sure if its the shin guards or if the socks are too tight? Has anyone had this problem and know how to deal with it?

    Thank you.

I got it after I got a bruised shin. I'd just try different shinnies.

Go for the smallest shin pads you can get away with, I've had mine for ages and I've actually taken the foam off the back of mine and just tuck them down my socks. I personally HATE wearing shin pads and I don't see why people want all that padding around their ankles as I like to feel the ball.

Instead of using the elastic that comes with the shin pads put some tubing bandage over the top of the shin pads to hold them in place, it's cheap and effective!
