sears does sound like a good move, but the worry is that he doesn't want to move north and would rather stay somewhere around london. i think it'd do him some good to broaden his horizons anyway.
personally, i think a wide midfielder is a more pressing concern for us.

welcome to bigsoccer, heartbeatamplifier. you know, my fellow wednesdayites, if we got a few more fans on here, we could get our own team forum at the top here. i think bigsoccer requires the support of 10 members to have your own forum. just sayin...

anything about spurr and/or beevers going the other way?

that's how i heard it put elsewhere, though it all sounded quite speculative. and while sears would be a fine acquisition, i wouldn't want either of those two out in order to get him.

... ok, maybe beevs, but tommeh must stay at all costs.

did you actually get a tommeh, lex?

i was thinking i might pick up one of the new shirts if i'm over this fall - and if so, it'll surely be spurr.

I suppose he thinks that if he somehow unsettles the 8 Owls on here by singing odd songs, our fear in the face of his awesomeness will make its way back to Sheffield by a shared osmosis, and make us lose to Barnsley on opening day.

    Clearly it's not gonna work.

    3-1 Wednesday :)

I noticed that. Though they do have a new all black away that seems rather daunting...

He may have ben making a reference to the fact that Tudgay was in a transfer rumor/deal to Burnley...?

Although he was singing about Barnsley.

But Tudgay has signed on for 4 more yrs ;)

    Re: O9/1O Fixtures

are you going to post the schedule like that after every game? because that's going to make these pages unnecessarily long.

huge disappointment on saturday, by the way. up 2-0 in the first half only to get complacent and let them come back. 2 points lost right there.

Nice result in the Cup today. OK, it's only Rochdale, but scoring a few goals is always good for confidence.

Good to see Frankie Simek getting a good run out too. Very encouraging.
