i was just browsing around soccernet and i saw the words "megson" and "sheffield wednesday" on the front page. it's so rare to see that as a top story, i had to do a double-take before i could focus and read what it said.

stunned. regardless of whether you wanted him gone or not, the timing could only be worse if he did it the night before the derby. now any momentum and positivity earned from the derby win has been flushed down the toilet. i've read that dave jones has already been lined up as his replacement.

ran into another wednesdayite today at the skc-la game. i saw his jersey and had to make a point to say hi. i'm sure he was just as surprised as i was. aside from skc dominating and going to 5-0, that pretty much made my day.
