Fair enough. I'll provide updates on request via PM for anyone who has picked.

But how will that work if people want to change their picks?

If you get an update, you won't be able to change picks. The update will be subject to potential changes by other people, so will not be definitive.

We also need some Sheep suggestions. I'll start with Russell Latapy & Ali Daei (no 10 2006) and Phil Babb & Frank Klopas (no 14 1994).

We have to wait on sheep in case someone only has one pick go through! Though I nominate Eric Wynalda and Tomas Brolin.

Not surprised obviously. Bit disturbed that 6 double picks got through first time with only 3 players banned though. Probably means almost all of the true world class players are picked or banned now

There are so many options in this round, I doubt that.

Well, I figured might as well go big or go home with that one. As nice said, so many possible picks.

hmmmm...I expected to lose out on Maradona, but thought my next pick would be pretty simple. Could be slightly more tricky now I could be competing for the same shirt number with other pickers:cautious: .

I don't get the Maradona/Platini/Zico picks. If both players go through, how do you intend to use two #10's on the same formation?

Play a 4-3-2-1, I would think. Besides, Maradona wasn't a prototypical #10; I think he and Platini would have gotten along reasonably well.

You can try to get all three and go for the Brazil 1970 formation.

So you're telling me that you wouldn't want any 2 of the 3 in your starting line-up?

To be fair to EG, there are definitely times when less is more, especially with respect to talismanic players. I'd say Riquelme proved that at Barca. (There are better examples, but they're a lot likelier to get drafted :p).

I prefer one of them and another great player from another position. I will PM ASF and nicephoras.

Okay, I've sent my second pick. I'm guessing the conversation is the new PM?

I don't know about everybody else, but especially given Peru's valuable contributions to the drafts previously I'd be willing to wait until Sunday even for him to get some picks in before the second set of results for round 2 is revealed. Hopefully it's the case that he'll be online soon and pick quickly, but missing 2 deadlines on a double round might be a big disadvantage (as it is it's not too bad for him to miss just the first pick deadline and still get 3 sets of picks albeit counting later than for other drafters).

It'd also give Breitner'sWig chance to study the results of round 2 before his round 3 pick I suppose if the draft was delayed by another day.

I assume Peru's trip maybe just lasted a bit longer than expected - I'm not a member on Xtratime so can't check when he last logged-on there but his latest post was also on the 26th April (his username is Glavisted).

Obviously ignore this lanman if you feel it's not feasible or would set a precedent for being able to miss deadlines, but I'd be happy just to receive an update PM on Saturday if Peru FC hasn't picked by then (and hasn't been able to be online).
