Thank you, Shawn. Thank you for loving this game more than we fans do. Thank you for what you brought to an organization and league we all care about. Thank you for your dignity and spark. Though I never met you and never saw you play in person, I am truly touched.

 

I will continue to use Shawn's struggle as inspiration for my own fight
