"Tie" should have been an option.

With Serra Ferrer one point is not an option! I forgot how to savor a victory in a derby especially in the pig stye of the Nervion!

The game will be played on Sunday not 19 December not Saturday the 18th.

    Viva Er Beti Manque Lopera!

Yeah I know when the match is, but I wanted to end the poll the day before. That way people can say, "I told you so".

    Re: FYI

This is a friendly message from the Northern Cali-VerdiBlanco. Betis won again today, but Sevilla is one point ahead of the VerdiBlancos. Beware cause your heads are getting sized up for the Trophy Case. Also somebody contact Sevilla & tell those fools to resod their pitch, cause it looks like sh!t. I don't want to see any VerdiBlancos get an injury due to that sloppy pitch. [IMG]

    Re: FYI

They can't afford new grass since the team has no money. They are so cheap that they use sheep from Del Nido's farm to eat the grass, thereby saving landscaping costs!

No word yet if GolTV will be televising the match live or on delay this Sunday.

They have showed the derby the past couple of years and with both teams up in the standings there shouldn't be any reason why not.

Are any of you putas verdiblancas going to the game? I think not. I will be there, though. Hell, Sevilla has a much more important game on Wednesday and will still win this one. VIVA SEVILLA!

Why should we, when we can sit at home or at the bar and watch the animals tear up the seats, beat the ushers with a cane and all the usual fun stuff that the average chorizo supporter of Sevilla FC tends to do at a derby! :D

Game should have been over in a few more minutes if not for the Referee who decided that the traditional green and white Betis jersey is too similar to the all white jersey that Sevilla uses and made Betis change, even though they always wear the same jersey for all the derby's. So Betis had to send a rep to their offices and pickup the green (road jersey), then of course Sevilla had to do their warmups and on so on.

Best of the first half, Joaquins gallop from midfield and pass which Oliveira couldn't bury in the net but Fernando was there to score. Sevilla should have never gotten their goal if it wasn't for the Betis defense coughing up the ball twice in their box and Sevilla not forgiving Betis on the second turnover!

Should be a great 45' of the second half!

    Final Result

Mieyrda FC 2 Er Beti 1

    1-0 Alves 3'
    1-1 Fernando 42'
    2-1 Javi Navarro 47'

Both goals by Sevilla the Betis defenders had their headsup way up their fourth points of contact. Esteban had that great save off the Assuncao free kick and Edu's failure to score when he had his chances were the difference in the game. The only consolation is that Betis played better this year then they did both years with VF as headcoach!

Another long year I will have to wait to see Er Beti defeat Mieyrda FC en la pocilga!

Funny that Edu always scores against my team, yet chokes in the games that really matter.

Hey Oliveira missed some opportunities too. I thought that Seville's physical play disrupted Betis & it showed. I don't remember too many chances that Oliveira got, but I do remember that one that he had in the 2nd half, when he had a 1on1 w/ the keeper, but shot wide. All in all, Seville won & I can't complain too much. It was a big victory as the win put a lot of distance btween the two sides. [IMG] [IMG]
