Anyone know if Schapesbot posted this in the Obama failure thread?

Oh, and I think the word "alleged" needs to be in the first post. He doesn't deny the relationship, but he disputes the time frame that would make it illegal.

Who cares about facts when talking about PBS the entity that single handedly brought down the economy and bankrupted our government.

Just curious. Would this be redundant?

But where does it stop Chris? Next thing you know there will be gay hairdressers or airline stewards.

Schapesbot failure or an Obama failure? I can't decide.

It's not the Obama failure thread, so the answer is obvious!

People should've been suspicious when they caught Elmo giving Ernie a golden shower in the dressing room.

Did Romney get a heads-up on this?
Or is he just lucky that he liked Big Bird, not Elmo?

I really hope that this isn't true.

People, Romney tried to warn you about this.

Now parents across America have to explain to their probably-not-speaking-yet toddlers that Elmo is a big gay queer pervert and they have to watch Yo Gabba Gabba and their not-at-all subversive programming now. Thanks a lot, liberals.
Well, Clash claims the relationship started after he the accuser turned 16, and the emails are fabricated.

First, I hope it's not true, but why would you make this up?

Second, if Clash's claim is true, then cool. But is an adult waiting for a teenager to turn 18 before sex any less creepy? Which has me thinking - if 18 isn't any less creepy, then does it matter if it happened at 16? It's not like Sandusky, who coerced young, not-yet-developed boys into sex - we're talking about two (probably, at least on surface) consenting people with adult physical functions. It's creepy, it's not nice to think about, but should it be against the law. A part of me doesn't want adults taking advantage of teenagers' vulnerabilities, but then, some teens are mature enough to make these decisions. I'm not sure what's right any more.

They should marry Bert & Ernie once and for all and hold it in a Mormon church.

That was more of a comment on just just learning about who the guy was from my favorite radio show. And two weeks later he is accused of this.

I tend to agree. If a 16yo can stand trial as an adult, does that not mean that a 16yo also has the capacity to consent. I really wish the government was more consistent with age related laws.

It's definitely murky but you're right that there is a clear difference between being attracted to young, sexually mature people (which is pretty much pre-programmed into our brains) and being attracted to young children. All the difference in the world.

But still, an adult with a 16yo is pretty icky to think about.
