We should have a thread where we can have updates on the Southern clubs in these leagues, whether they're trying to be promoted or fighting relegation. Praise efforts, talk sh*t about, whatever...

    Serie B
    Avellino (Av, Campania)
    Bari (Puglia)
    Lecce (Puglia)
    Messina (Sicily)

    Serie C1
    C1/A
(this is actually supposed to be Northern clubs, but these two are in the division also I don't know why, same level as Serie C1/B, just regional difference)
    Foggia (Puglia)
    Paganese (Sa, Campania)

    C1/B
    Salernitana (Sa, Campania)
    Crotone (Calabria)
    Gallipoli (Puglia)
    Juve Stabia (Na, Campania)
    Martina (Puglia)
    Potenza (Basilicata)
    Sorrento (Na, Campania)
    Taranto (Puglia)

At the moment in Serie B, Lecce are the only ones doing really well (thanks to Papadopulo being manager)... the snot machine are right near the bottom ATM.

In C1, Salernitana have had a great start and with them in the playoff places are Crotone and Gallipoli, I really want Sorrento to get promoted though, they've actually got some good results too, beating Arezzo and drawing with Perugia.

Gallipoli are having a great season, it seems like they just came out of knowhere... promoted the last three seasons in a row, right from Eccellenza. Maybe Bari will have a new Apulian giallorossi rival to worry about if Lecce get promoted into A for next season.

Bari won't be back until they solve their club problems. Matarrese is running that club to the ground.

Atleast they're doing well in the league (only decent Southern club in Serie B at the moment)... but Lecce's away shirt has to be the ugliest thing I have ever laid my eyes on. The green works with Avellino cause its a darker shade.. but this is just... it looks like Regan from the Exorcist threw up.

Me too! Our neighbors Benevento have won C2 so they will be in C1 next year. If Avellino drop to C1, I would imagine a good rivalry between AV and BN.

can someone confirm the PLAYOUT situation in sserie B?...

how large does the gap between 4th and 5th last have to be to cancel the PLAYOUT altogether and just relegated the bottom 4 teams to serie C???..

im asking of course because of the points gap between Avellino and Treviso...i think its at 9points right now with one game left...

can someone clear this up for me?:(

I'm not 100% sure of the rules, but Avellino is relegated. There won't be any play-outs
