Aguero is simply amazing, if people called Rooney a wonderkid you need to make up a new word to describe el kun cause he's a different breed. Too bad his team isn't very good, hopefully they can cash-in on la niña torres and get some reinforcements. A big waste of time would be for him to come play the YWC in Canada (not to mention risk of injury), but if he does I'll have to try to get off work and travel to wherever he's playing. Re: Sergio Aguero at Atletico Madrid!!! Although I do agree with you, I do however see some positives from his situation. He gets to learn in an environment in which he has no choice but to step up which will help his leadership skills plenty. He is also getting more touches than he probably would at AC Milan or another big club. Atletico may not be the grandest of clubs, but it is a good starting point for a player of his age.

At Atletico he can get used to playing in a top league, get plenty of first team action but not have the kind of pressure he would have if he was playing for someone like Real Madrid/AC Milan etc. He'll also get to play in european competition I've got a feeling he is going to really flourish at Atletico when (if) Torres leaves.

Like you said, the pressure at Real or Milan might have been a bit much for a kid. Gago flourished at Real only because the expectation from him wasn't to score goals. Besides, after Gravessen, how can anyone look questionable? El Kun barring injury should have a true breakout term next go around.
