Wambach is always on the ground and much of it is flopping.

I may be, but she is making mincemeat of everyone today.

Just calling it like it is.

    66' 1-1 #12 Cheney harasses #6 Kyle, reach-in trip foul from behind. I think that's Cheney's first close-up.

67' 1-1 USA up to box arc top, flicks inside-out to #9 O'Reilly at box top right. #14 Wambach drifts centerward to 15m, #9 Chapman steps forth into a chest-bump, which "flattens" Wambach -- no call. Ball still live, soon fizzles. Cheney hauls Wambach up. Yellow card to Chapman, but no foul , uh huh.

68' 1-1 #5 O'Hara gets shoulders and hips past a defender at 22m box left, undercut down. USA free kick, cleared.

72' 1-1 USA swing right. #9 O'Reilly crosses from box top wide right, #18 McLeod catches awkwardly at 5m 1/3 left. #14 Wambach barrel-lunges past her, rolls hard into the left post. Oof! Bounces back up ...

75' 1-1 #12(c) Sinclair faces down a 1-v-1 at box top 6-left, cleared excellently. #15 Rapinoe gets into a duel vs. fresh #5 Gayle, finally shows a bit of gassedness -- can't quite wriggle free, #8 Matheson wins it.

76' 1-1 USA subs in (6 of 6) #11 Sydney Leroux for #5 Kelley O'Hara. Leroux holds up 3-4-3 fingers: shift!!

This lineup is nowhere near as efficient as the first half. Sinclair didn't get a touch then. She has had dangerous chances this half.

Canada's subs have had a big impact. Ours, not so much.

78' 1-1 #11 Scott crumples in center circle, all play on. Canada hoof long diagonally, #4 Sauerbrunn wins a 1-v-1 footrace. Calmly carries into her own left corner, trading space for time. USA pass smoothly up left touch. Wambach tells Rapinoe to hoof into touch. Scott gets attention: stretching a calf cramp? Not a ligament. All get water.

82' 1-1 USA's midfield is fizzling. Cheney tries stepover, gets candy taken away.

83' 1-1 USA outwrestles a spin-duel at 24m box right, flicks to box top wide right, but the cross sails high wide right.

84' 1-1 #12 Cheney speculates from 25m right post, sails wide right.

That was a goal. No offside. The Canadians just made a mess of it all.

I'd like to see who touched it before AROD there was only one defender, so if it was a US player who touched it, it's off.

85' 2-1 #4 Sauerbrunn carries out, rolls diagonally to #15 Rapinoe behind center left touch. She centers to #12 Cheney, who spins. Rapinoe belatedly runs up left touch, doesn't get the pass -- Cheney drops to #10 Lloyd, who one-touch sweeps perfectly to Rapinoe at box top left. Rapinoe sees threats up the centerline, curls outswinging to 13m left post. #18 McLeod comes out and challenges as 14(c) Wambach has to turn back to the ball. Ball skitters off Wambach's midriff, she shields McLeod off, hip-thrusts ball sideways toward #8 Rodriguez at 8m 2/3 right. Rodriguez awkwardly high-steps ball into the empty net, high right corner. USA runs to the left corner and do grass angels.

87' 2-1 Canada subs in (5 of 6) #19 Chelsea Stewart for #22 Lauren Sesselman.
