The USA have been pressing down the right hand side for most of the match. However, those final touches in the box have not been there so far.
So stupid this... Every time there's a kickoff to start the first or second half, a team kicks it all the way down to where the goalie from the other side is sure to get it; why not try to just work your way down instead of doing a longball every time? With Wagner coming on for Parlow, I have to ask, did Parlow play well? True, the attacks came from her, but nothing came of them I think because she's too slow. Incredible series by Scurry.

Spectacular double save by Scurry! However, Prinz is down with a shoulder injury. Replay suggests she landed hard on it. That would have been a disaster if Scurry did not come up big.

Bivens has to come out, she is getting burned time and time again. She got saved by an offsides call there, but she's not doing much. She has to be the next sub taken out I would think. Rottenberg is having a hell of a match.
