Am not so sure that was the only reason, dont forget Rivero was the best Venezuelan fwd that day, but anyway I hope Martins Saucedo combo is just as good as Martins Botero was, btw how old is Saucedo?

To be honest I didn't expect much from him, but damn it he proved me wrong. I love to be wrong in such cases.

Like they say... the best defense is a good offense! Rivero is so hot and cold. The game against Brasil in Brasil... he was in a class of his own! Thanks to him and Raldes... Brasil couldn't put a friggin goal in their own house!!

He's 33....eerily around the same age as botero last time around...

    House hunting? LOL

Weren't you dead broke about a year ago, on here, hocking your tacky cholivar jerseys for quarters and dimes, now you're house hunting?

So what lottery numbers did you play:D

you know whats eerie?, Botero leaving us after that game vs. Argentina, giving us hope for qualifying... and then Escobar retiring the NT after his breakthrough game for us vs. Paraguay and giving us much more hope for Brasil.
Are these guys being bribed or something? that's just weird. Right now el Pajaro would be playing next to his Strongest teammate, chuma.

If Saucedo is 33 this is the first and last time he plays World Cup qualifiers. He will be too old after Brazil. Hope he takes advantage and keeps on scoring for us.
On a separate note, does anyone know when our U20 starts to practice? I can't wait to see who is on that team, specially now that Azkargorta is running the show. I know for sure well see Azogue, Suarez from bolivar, and that defender from U de sucre that was called up by Azcargorta for practice.

I read today that the list for the U-20 Azkargorta will announce by the end of the month. They are set to start practicing the first week of november. I am also curious to see which players Azkargorta will call up.

One of my clients is from Costa Rica (he owns Saprissa FC among other things), and had told me about this game. I may tag long with him to see it...I hope we don't screw it up!

Hopefully the friendly against Costa Rica does go through. Here is to hoping those ********ers from the FBF don't cancel last moment like they always ********ing do.

We could use some sweet revenge from copa america last year.

Am with you. Azkargorta needs to call these guys to get some options. as I said before we are not Brazil we need to take a look at guys who are getting playing time in Europe, even the guy playing in Sheriff should be looked at.
That being said it'll be a good game. They are a good opponent, and Bolivia is starting to click.

I think if people expect him to do the same during away games, then they will be disappointed. He is perfect for poaching in La Paz.

Anyone who thinks he should start over Martins is crazy

Scoring 3 in La Paz should solidify his start in home games. His game over the weekend vs. Oriente further proved that his poaching ability is no fluke.

Away games is a different story and we won't know how he plays and at this point in qualifiers, it's better not to experiment. Hopefully the friendly vs. Costa Rica is a done deal.i say start him and see what happens.

En partidos de afuera, deberia ver una forma de jugar Martins con Pedriel. Pedriel es delantero extremo, no es central entonces hay forma de jugar con los dos.Trato de ver sus partidos con el Sivasspor y juega en el extremo derecho. (right wing)

I am for Martins and Pedriel. I watched Martins last night for Gremio, wasn't too sharp... missed a sitter or two. But it's good to see a bolivia starting and playing all of the game in an international competition. They won vs. Millionarios 1-0 at home... but that may not be enough (sudamericana) because Millo's looked good...

Is the game against Costa Rica confirmed 100%? its a week away and Azkargota hasn't announced the call ups... :/ Also there are game in the Bolivian League this weekend if I'm not mistaken... which means they gonna get together monday, recover that day, train tuesday only, and play wednesday...

I'm guessing its gonna be all local players? cuz if Azkargota was gonna call Galindo, Arze, Pedriel, or Rodriguez from Europe it would've been announced already...hopefully Raldes, Gutierrez, and M3 get a call too since it would be easier for them to get to Santa Cruz.
