Like I said, knock yourself out, it's not for me though. Even the typical score prediction isn't for me these days. I guess I'm just old and want kids to get off my lawn.

To be fair I should probably lighten up a little with some things. But while I appreciate your enthusiasm I don't share your need to, well... share, every prediction you come up with xD

Don't get me wrong, I think Scolari needs to be ready for eventualities, but I just don't think playing the what if game to that degree generates much interesting conversation.

I want Fred to be there because he won us the Confed cup, but part of me would like to see an enforced replacement. Who would it be? We have to have a centre forward because he gives the defenders something to worry about whilst other players do the damage, and Scolari is fond of a big man up front so no doubt we will have a CF. I wouldn`t rule out Hernane or Walter, both of these would be good because the Euro teams have never played against them before and dont know what to expect. Would be fun!

Hey I want Fred to be there as well, cause its been awhile since we've had a true no.9 but he does have a history of being injury prone and his Romario-like attitude to training dont help matters either!!

Spurs coach responds to paulinho saying he won't play him and will do what's best for his team, that paulinho is not used to play at a much faster EPL league, that this is not brazil or the national team...

Even though Paulinho has his ticket booked for the WC, this still isn't good for Brazil with lack of playing time for Spurs. But due to Scolari's loyalty I dont see him losing his starting spot in the Selecao!!

But he does need to leave after the WC maybe to Italy or Spain

Considering the results he has gotten, he can't ignore Paulinho. Who's Tim Sherwood? What experience does he have coaching in the EPL? Please...

Haha ! My avatar was supposed to be a show of Scolari's feelings towards the team after he took the reigns. I thought there were going to be some ups and downs but the path was really pretty straight forward. Been too lazy to change the avatar.

I wouldn't worry about someone who has played regularly getting a break now. It's a little too early and it's just baffling that Tim Sherwood would exclude Paulinho, but at least he's reducing his chances of injury!

In Paulinho's specific case though he had some injury time off and so I would prefer if he kept playing through April, so it's not great, that's for sure.

May 13th is still about 5 weeks away, I'm eager to see how soon after that players get to Granja Comary for training as most will be done with their leagues by the then.

lol Club form is a myth. Once you put on that yellow jersey its basically a new season, new team, new person. Paulinho seems to be one of those players that despite how bad he could be doing for his club, he'll turn it up for Brazil.

I wonder what is Felipao's motivation on watching the Benfica x Rio Ave game today. Kind of an odd decision since I don't really see any player that is national team worthy outside of Luisao.

Artur as a possible goalie? Lima or stealing Rodrigo Moreno from Spain for one of the forward spots?

I highly highly doubt in Artur or Rodrigo. Lima is a stretch, and normally would illicit laughs and strong reactions if his name was brought up on here. But considering the lack of options, he is not too far of a stretch to keep an eye on. But why introduce a brand new player this late in the game?

Luisao would probably be the safest bet. And I wouldnt argue against having that type of experience as a 4th CB.

Paulinho has been dealing with conjunctivitis sporadically during past couple of months.

Interesting. Battle for Porto's Fernando. I honestly think this is a move to avoid strengthening a competitor. Fernando would be a starter for Portugal. Unfortunately for Brasil, he doesnt fit.
