I agree completely about Lusiao. Great defender, knows his role on the team, and would be a great player on the squad to help out the younger guys in practice.
Teixeira resigns !!! http://www.gazetaesportiva.net/noti...traves-de-carta-e-deixa-cbf-apos-23-anos.html

Yeah ... even though the ball seemed to go under Samuel's foot, he committed to the shot too early. The shot was practically in the middle but caught him falling the wrong way.
Yeah agree, I think it's because Japan are playing France on the 12th in France and Brazil don't have a game on the 12th I don't think. So it would've been impractical to go have the game in either Japan or Brazil as the Brazilian players are already based in europe anyway.
It probably has something to do with the brand new stadiums for Euro 2012. Maybe Poland was looking for games to played there and is giving a little incentive. Otherwise, perfect scenario would have been in Sao Paulo with the large Japanese population.
New Nike commercial... eh, it wouldn't be that hard to make a real bad-ass commercial that everyone would love. But it seems nike always half-asses it regardless of the sport. And not to be a hater, but what has Ganso done to become one of the main faces of the Selecao? won't believe it till I see it on Globo or Lance! Mind boggling.. I thought we got rid of Teixeira!?!?! Why is Brazil still playing in the middle of nowhere venues.
I would not mind seeing him back. Much maligned but did not do a lot wrong. http://sambafoot.com/en/news/29227_felipe_melo_targets_brazil_recall.html
.......wow, a player was sent off. Was he the first ever in the history of football? The game should have been won before then..........
I was partially joking, but you cant just brush aside a petulant red card like that. Especially when the team is attempting to comeback.
Dunga's team started playing well only after the arrival of Melo.He is one of the best players at his position. The pass from Melo against Holland for the opening goal was one of the best in the tournament. No one in the current NT can boss the midfield like he does. He rarely had a bad game in the yellow Jersey until the second half against Holland. I think eventualy Melo will be called up ..
No way Melo will ever be called after that fiasco he pulled against Holland. KAKA - At this stage, I would call Kaka with my eyes closed. He is playing very well and is now an undisputed starter CM at RM. Kaka had another good game yesterday putting RM in the Champions League semis. Luis Fabuloso - Definately worth calling him back. Scoring now consistently for SP including four goals last night. His game is back. Forget Jonas - not even close to Fabuloso. Right/Left back - Playing a 4-4-2 with Marcelo and Dani Alves in left/right back is suicide, especially with David Luiz in CB. Marcelo/Dani Alves are more attacking wingers than defenders - and they are week leaks on defense. If Mano insists on these two players, then must be a 3-5-2 with Thiago Silva, Dede, and? as the three defenders.
Completely agree regarding Kaka and O Fabuloso. Dante out of Germany is someone that people rave about.
