the monarchy is the Original Tailgaters since April 2005. We might not be "Official" in terms of getting a $25 discount from the RSL FO, but we take pride in our section 22 (soon to be 26). The monarchy is the ONLY supporters club that people do not join, they become a member. We have already named RSL Stadium "the Kingdom". The kingdom is a fortress for the Loyalists, RCB, FCB, the monarchy and of course REAL SALT LAKE!!!

Yeah... you all forget my Supporters Group: Prawn Sandwich Brigade

We're in Section 19 of the new stadium - about 200-300 strong!!! We don't have any chants or anything - we just sit quietly and try to look cool...

We usually get anywhere from 3-30 people at the tailgate. However, the people in section 22 know who they are. The men with the R - S - L signs are the best, and they get props for getting the section going. I am just the organizer between the friends.

Hello,

We tailgate on Guardsman and 500 south. Basically in the same spot where people tailgate for the Utah football games. Across from the Tennis center. Against the crew it was a small gathering, but sometimes it gets pretty massive. Lately more groups are starting to pop up there. Hopefully it will be a big even and loads of people will show up. Feel free to set up camp next to us sometime. Great match by the way on Saturday, it was a long time coming for RSL to finally take 1st. Hey do any of you other Supporters groups get crap for throwing beach balls or confetti when RSL Scores? it seems that lately the RSL staff has been cracking down on Section 22. On Saturday the witchy old woman dragged off 2 10 year old kids for throwing confetti after Findley scored, and she threatened some of us with being kicked out and a $500 fine. Funny how a business can now fine people. Oh well, I hope this crap doesnt happen at the new stadium. I dont see a problem with some paper and a beach ball. Maybe we all need to plan a massive going away from RIce-Eccles party??? Lets think about it.

I know RES staff has been getting tougher on what goes in the at least the RCB/FCB section.

So what is it lately with RES security? Seems that many groups around the stadium are getting a lot of harassment just because they want to raise a little ruckus and cheer on the team. They angered one member of another group so much that he cancelled his Utes pointy-ball tickets. Meanwhile Santos fans were allowed to yell obscenities at our players and fans throughout the match and dozens of fans are allowed to throw garbage on the pitch with security seemingly unable to identify a single guilty party (in the sections near us anyway).

Going to be very nice to get into our own stadium and hopefully have a staff that understands that it's acceptable to make a little noise, have the occasional slightly off-color chant (SLIGHTLY mind you, there are words that we should all have the wisdom to not use out of respect for other fans and families), and toss around a little confetti or streamers to celebrate a goal or a win.

Black streamers, lots of confetti, smoke bombs. Let's give'em hell. Maybe instead of R-S-L signs we can do ********-YOU-RES signs instead at 90'.

Our group finally made piece with Whitebeard, but the crackdown is ridiculous. There are only 4 more RSL games being played at RES. What's the big deal?

Yes, loads of Confetti, Black Streamers, As Many flags as we can bring in, the booze flowing like water, Lots of signs, etc. We all need to do a Massive MEGA Tailgate! Keep the ideas coming!
What did Whitebeard say? I saw you guys down there, now we need to have a chat with the manly old woman that threatened us. I doubt we will make peace, that woman drags 10 year olds out of the stadium.

haha burning it is a little much. The craziest thing about the whole RES is when I go to Ute football games, or when I was a student in the MUSS we got away with MUCH more than I have ever done at RSL games. I really think it is the RSL FO that is causing the crap. When I was working in the RES press box after the San Jose 0-0 match the RES staff was great, they basically said they dont care what mess we cause as long as RSL cleans it up, or pays to clean it up. I am worried with the sandy stadium we might get the same crap. I hope not. Lets have a massive going away party and then continue the party in the sandy stadium so we can test our limits!!!

I'm buying up a few dozen smoke bombs and lighters, for distribution at the final game.
