Hines phone isn't going to ring unless it's for a Gold Cup camp. I think he'd likely fit in quite well there and that it'd be an appropriate introduction for this cycle. If he doesn't get the call for that, then it'll take an exceptional set of circumstances for him to get a call-up this cycle. I'd say that a starter in MLS and a starter in the Championship would have about the same chance at a JK call-up if MLS wasn't the domestic league in The U.S. As things stand, the USMNT has more of a vested interest in MLS and its best players.
Not that has been reported, not sure how it works can player file on own or does a national team have to sign off? Anyways, he has repeated interviews expressing a desire to play for USA but nothing from JK to get ball rolling.
