That would have been useful about an hour ago.

Make the last spot on the playoffs and win the cup. Same as any Rapids coach. For marketing purposes it matters whether or not players come from certain parts of the world.

And, the Rapids score. From the much hated attack from the flanks.

Freeman may have given up a goal earlier, but he may have just saved one there.

What I've heard is that they can make requests for certain teams on certain game days or certain dates (like the 4th of July for the Rapids) be home games but they only get a couple of outright vetos and many of the game dates themselves are set by the league.

Not wanting to be there seems to be the case quite a bit when the going gets rough. C. Casey and Mullan seem to be the only ones who really hustle out there, with Casey trying to make a difference in at forward....a lot. Just seems so dissapointing.

Cascio on for Castrillon, and Zakuani is getting ready to come on.

I can't tell from the replay if that was a good offside call.

That looked like a good goal. WTF. Show the replay.

    Good for Zakuani though.

If we're talking about how great it is that all these league stars are coming back can we get a shout out for Casey?

Rapids are suddenly defending like they think JL's goal counted.

    Why didn't it count?

Down a goal with less than two minutes of stoppage time left and somebody with the ball on the byline, it would be great if there was more than 1 guy in the box!

Then rivero has all day and skies the shot.

    I typed too soon.

Nice play to get Rivero a shot, but.... well... you know.

Nice play from Edu. Rivero puts it over. Seems to be his thing.

Rewound after the final whistle to watch the offside call live (since the replay was awful). I think it was the right call, certainly close enough that without the benefit of another angle I'm going to give the referee the benefit of the doubt.

Just rewound and watched it 3 times seems Omar was a hair offsides ( he got a piece of shot putting it in goal) and Mullan was another step further offsides.

Going back to look the offside involved a touch (or not) by Cummings, if he did indeed touch it the offside was correct, if it was a dummy it still could be considered entering into play so probably correct ... as much as it sucks.

Well a 1 goal loss and non-shutout is an improvement from the historical average of 2 goal losses and being shutout (we were shutout in 4 of our 6 game in Seattle coming into the game). ;)

0-0-7, 18 against, 5 for (and 3 of those were in the game last year)
