How do we get the word out and get people to commit to buying season tickets for a MLS team in Atlanta. that needs to be BOSS' primary goal right now

It would probably be a good thing to contact somebody in the Sons of Ben to see what they did to generate interest. It would also be good to somehow get in touch with the "Soccer Cabinet," or whatever it's called, and at least let them know that there is a grassroots effort going on. It couldn't hurt, and they might jump on board with it, knowing that people are actually trying to get something going.

Carl Adkinsis the GM of the Georgia Dome and a member of the Soccer Cabinet and Jim Smith is the Chief Marketing Officer for the Falcons and former GM of the Colombus Crew. Jim Smith is the main man in the Blank Organition for all thinks MLS. They are both easy to reach via email and seem willing to try to meet with a group of fans. I was trying to start a fans group to get an MLS team over the summer and they both were intersted in helping if it ever got off the ground.

    Here are they email addess:
    Carl Adkins- cadkins@gadome.com
    Jim Smith- JSmith@Falcons.nfl.com

I think it would be a good idea to get a substantial base established (like a decent number of people meeting in person regularly) before anyone contacts these CEOs.

They might not pay much mind to a small group of people who don't do much besides talk about stuff on an online forum.

That's why it would be good to "drain the brains" of the Sons of Ben, and then go from there. If the Soccer Cabinet sees a good grassroots effort, they'll be more willing to talk with a group than just a couple or three people.

That is the problem. It seems like just about everyone on here only wants to talk. Most have no desire to do anything proactive to get a MLS team here. If anyone wants to try to organize a new group to be active in the our quest I would be more then happy to do anything I can.

While I support the cause I am unfortunately one of the guilty ones who is not really in a position to be super active. But good luck! :)
