    Really?

Cause When I looked around he was written as a predominately central midfielder and only secondary winger. So idk I am sticking with that for now and if I am wrong no harms done also heh

Yep, that's how I see it as well. Although after June that may change.

Do Higuchi and Kaetsu think we can get away with having 13 players on the field? Matching Marquinhos' 16 goals may require us to play Fujita, Ito and Yajima all at the same time.

    thanks

Will be also interested in for instance Omiya's

They say 3-5-2, I would go with 4-2-3-1

"Once bitten twice shy" isn't a phrase that seems to be known in the halls of Marinostown.

How close is Slovenian to Serbo-Croatian? Maybe you need to expand your audience ;)

It's not exactly same but close and they usually understand half of what we say. But I speak the language and understand most of it.

But it's not like I have my own site or blog.

I just have my own topic on some forum with 24 pages about J-League info

Where it is 95% me posting ;)

    P.S.

In my preseason and this thread I have said, that this year Shimizu S-Pulse is my dark horse for the season 2014.

Yahiro Kazama challenges tactical orthodoxy imploring coaches to use wide attackers to spread out opposing defenses horizontally.
    http://number.bunshun.jp/articles/-/785605
    • Many professional coaches instruct their wide attacking players to operate near the touch-line to drag opposing fullbacks out and create space between the defenders
    • However, many players are less potent when they are deployed too far outside, blunting the attack and instead increasing vulnerability to opposing counterattacks
    • Dortmund under Klopp illustrates a contrasting approach: Reus and Aubameyang operate closer to Lewandowski, and attacking width is instead provided by the overlapping fullbacks
    • Kazama: "This is an example of backward thinking due to formation dogma. You need to first consider the specific qualities and strengths of the opposing wide attackers: if they happen to be Ribéry and Robben, you need to mark them closely as they are lethal from the point they receive the ball. With players of lesser quality, you can allow them to receive the ball relatively freely and prioritize compactness in the back line."
    • "If an opposing player of non-superstar quality stays close to the touch-line, it works to our advantage since it simply means that our defense can ignore him to a certain extent. Conversely in attack, we think of the flanks as real estate that is always available for use. However, this is done judiciously; out of the 3 sides of the penalty area, we attack most frequently through the central, longest side. In fact, at Frontale we cross most often after penetrating the box."
    • "The team needs to have clear ideas about the kinds of goalscoring patterns we want to generate, then work backwards. If your team philosophy is built on the tactics you employ in defense, it becomes difficult to come up with goals. Many say that you should take more risks in front of goal, but Frontale plays its most precise, accurate soccer there."

No, they weren't in the starting line-up.

Most of the players which started this game won't be starters this season, except Yamamoto, and some of them like Taniguchi and Kani are in their first year as pros.

So it was basically a B-Team.

And that's the reason that Frontale lost so harsh. Anyway, they are capable to lost in this way with A Team (last season), but I expect from them in the new season to be more solid in the defense. They played a total footbal last season, but now it's time be more solid in defense and I trust in Kazama.

    Great thread Blue-San!

Rather unlikely though that Konno will start as CB again.
He'll play alongside Endo as DM where he played the best last season.
CB (if injury free) will be Iwashita-Nishino or rather Evson-Nishino
