Ok guys, here it is. Instructions on how to use it are in ReadMe.txt file which you can find inside the zip file. I have created this thread so I can get your feedback and discuss anything related to the application. This release does not allow scanning for Match 64. This decision was taken by me and my testing team for obvious reasons i.e. We are all looking for Final tickets and we want to get some more time to be able to buy tickets using this scanner. I will announce the date when scanning for 64 will be allowed in the application in a few days. Hopefully it won't be too far. Please note that this is an unfinished project. I have a few things in mind that I still want to implement but haven't had the time to do so. Having said that, me and my testing team have been testing it for a couple of weeks and it works! I bought tickets for a match using this application couple of days ago. Didn't have to open any other browser. This is a windows only application btw. No Mac, no linux, no nothing. If you have any questions, feel free to post here. Here is the link to download: http://www.mediafire.com/?qggm4vmzyhy You have to download and install .net framework 3.5 as a pre-requisite which you can find at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...FD-AE52-4E35-B531-508D977D32A6&displaylang=en
When u finished buying the ticket u wanted how do u delete it from the scanner?? found the answer, read me txt
You can get rid of it temporarily by selecting the match and pressing 'delete' key on the keyboard. To permanently delete it, remove it from "Matches.xml" file.
Oh btw, I should introduce the testing team. These guys helped me improve the app with their feedback and suggestions. Can't thank them enough. In alphabetical order: Kayoss Lucozade Warrior migueldv Whiskerxx
Thanks to you guys too One question if you put cat1 alert on scanner, would it tell you if only cat 2 is available?
It would scan for whatever you have put there. If you want to scan different categories for the same match, just add the same match in the table with different categories. The alert would work for any match/ticket that becomes available. Does this answer your question?
Hi, I have a message that reads 'Unable to connect to the remote server', does this mean there is a specific problem or could it be one of a number of things. The only thing I could think that it means is that it cant find my internet connection, would I be right?
Are you behind a proxy? If yes, you need to set the proxy settings in scanner.exe.config file in proxy section.
Um sorry for my ignorance, Im not exactly sure. I am on a University campus and it asks me everytime I use the internet to enter a username and a password, could this be the proxy, if so how do I incorporate these details into the config file. Thanks so much for your help.
Go to internet explorer (Tools->Options->Connections->Lan Settings) and see your proxy settings there. If proxy is enabled, you need to put the same settings in scanner.exe.config file. I am highlighting the settings you need to change in bold: <defaultProxy enabled="true" useDefaultCredentials="true"> <proxy usesystemdefault="False" proxyaddress="http://abc:80" bypassonlocal="True" /> </defaultProxy> See if that works. Lemme know.
is there any way of adding a match without adding the amount of seats and what category you want. e.g i just want to know when match 61 becomes available in any category, any number of tickets. oh, and everytime, my thing says session expired? expert advice needed...
Nope nothing in the proxy box, weird but think its just my Uni's internet settings that require usernames and passwords for net access. Thanks so much for your help though
I keep getting a "Session Expired"... I've tried increasing the timeout value but went all the way up to 120 with no change. I did restart the application every time I edited the config file too. Anything else I can try?
Allright I found my proxy website, filled that in but now I get this error The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. I dont know whats going on.
