As we did in 2010, we will have a separate dedicated thread to discuss anything and everything related to the app. Here is a brief on what it can do: Shows the chart that I have been posting Allows continuous and automatic scanning of ticketing site to check tickets availability for matches you are interested in (every 5 seconds) Allows automatic "add to cart" option as soon as any tickets you are looking for become available Once all that is done, you will have 10 minutes to complete the transaction. The app will play a sound when tickets are added to cart so if you are around you can hear it. The app will also send an email to whatever address you choose. This is more or less like the app I wrote for 2010. System requirements (more on this later): Windows 7 or 8. Haven't tested it on XP yet. What's next: I will be posting here soon to get a few testers from this forum to test the application. No technical knowledge required. Just a windows-based machine and willingness to use and test the application.
Just to add to that, I haven't implemented any logic to beat the waiting queue yet. The app will work best for cases where tickets are released during FCFS. I can't say how it will behave when there is a queue. Will find out soon.
Count me in! Does the app have logic to get past the captcha thing that fifa makes you do when you choose tickets (the flow I recall from last FCFS was, choose game > category > number of tickets > enter in a 4 digit code to verify you are a human and then it will get to checkout from there (I never quite got there as I'd enter the 4 digit code and it would show that 'tickets are temporarily unavailable for the game you have chosen') Also was there any logic on when tickets would trickle out at certain times of day or was it purely random? From my understanding the trickle of tickets wouldn't commence until April 15 when the re-sale platform opens and that March 12 will be more like the first FCFS phase with a queue and all tickets gone within 24 hours.
Hello Scorpyn, does this mean it will not work on Windows Vista? If you want I can test that for you on my computer. Thanks.
Yeah, gets past the captcha automatically so it actually adds the tickets to your cart. That's when the 10 minutes timer starts during which you have to buy the tickets.
This scanner sounds amazing! I'll definitely put my hand up to help test it out. I've got 1 PC running Windows 7 and another running Windows XP.
