According to the kicker 15-25 million € are needed from January on. Magath plans to get the money by aquiring new sponsors, investors and trading players.

Wish you the all the best to solve this.

So will Höwedes have to continue playing LB?

This will really hurt his chances of making it into the German NT imo.

Some tense moments in the last 15 minutes, but 3 much needed points at a place where they have not had a whole bunch of good results in the last few years.

I see alot positive things in our team, and I guess we have to be patient with magath
since it took him like 3 years to build a a strong team/contenders
I thught though that with the defensive team we have we would focus more on counter attacking and playing on the wings, delivering crosses
    it doesnt seem that way
ok I see what his doing and it seems like the team just need to finish up th e last touch or pass and score
I applaud magath for changing the team mentality

    Goooooooooooollllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!
    #############!!!!!!!
    they scored :(
well we played some good footy in the 2nd half
i see alot more positive than negative in this team and it will take a while for Pliat, Holtbly, Kenia, Kuranyi, Farfan, too really be in sync
    but i see good progress

I could not agree more about Asamoah, although he is only just now turning 31. He was not good enough to start 4 years ago, how could he be among the best 11 now?

I also had the idea that Rafinha was sold...but it seems he was just taking an extended trip home to Brazil.

Mixed feelings on the match Friday. Played some good football in the second half and were just plain old unlucky...but they have to be better than to give up that second goal like that.

I think magath wants the team to start to pressure the opponent
with a high pressuring defence, however that makes us vulnarable to counter attacks, however it was working and the strategy was creating alot of good chances in the 2nd half

Don't come much closer to getting a goal than Kuranyi did there. Meanwhile, I was simply heartbroken to watch Lüdenscheid-Nord blow a lead for the second week in a row. It seems that election day next Sunday forced the big derby match to be moved back to Saturday...the Polizei are wary of spreading themselves too thin.

Holtby needs more playing time imo.

Magath praised him but never really gave him the match practice which he really neeeds

Agreed. I don't feel like we have learned much of anything about him to date.

Good win today 3-0 vs Bochum
i only saw 20 minutes or so but i saw alot of the replays
the formation magath used was great
    defense was great
    midfield was good
attack still needs a fix or two but nothing major
magath is doing great things for this club

How did you see the game?

Rakitic got in there...I suspect his lack of playing time has something to do with being in Magath's dog house, but I could be wrong.

Good win today vs our rivals
    1-0
the second half was mostly Dortmund trying to equalize and they had plenty of chances
but schalke had two really good oppurtunities to go up 2-0
one from altintop and another from Asamoah
    good drama today:D

The grass is a little greener and the Veltins is a little colder on a day like today. In a week where the bad financial news only got worse, nothing feels better than a Revier-Derby win!

Just more details of the massive debt the club is facing are coming to light. The latest info I have seen puts the bill at 135 million Euro.

Nevermind, all I am concerned about is a home win tomorrow vs. Eintracht on GolTV!
