hey everyone, from the USA forum here, due to Schalke's fantastic form, does he figure to step back into his starting role?

And how good is he? really. I haven't seen him play but once or twice. Is he really the "ultimate destroyer"?

I came over looking for the answer to the same question, but thought I'd add his name to your post for the sake of clarity. Hope you don't mind.

Any Schalke fans know about Jones' timeline for recovery? Is he training at all yet?

anywho, he suppose to be ready by the end of august,
I heard he was going to switch to the NT of US
his a hardworking & dedicated player who gives 110%
& he would be a great addition to the US NT

I never heard the term ultimate destroyer? where did u heard that?
Most Schalke fans talk in the Schalke forum website(german) not here/ u can try the thread Schalke 08/09

Magath was asked about Jones in todays press conference. He said that he is now starting to practice with the ball (instead of just running, rehabbing and doing cardio), but didn't give a timeline when Jones would be back on the field. Magath said this were Jermaine's own decision as the broken foot should be healed by now.

I think that Jermaine will be back playing in early or mid September, but that is just a laymans guess. I definitly don't expect him to play today and would be surprised if he plays next week.

Seems like Moritz is doing a very good job so far.

Do u guys think he will start when Jones has recovered? I think it all depends on where Westermann will be playing

so what do ya'll think of both Jefferson Farfan and Carlos Zambrano? I've watched all three games for Schalke so far this season, and I think they're both doing pretty damn good jobs, but I would still like to get an idea from the true fans of Schalke, well let me know, thanks. :)

well Zambrano has talent, but he just needs a little more confidence but he is on the right track, Farfan can do better especially after what I saw today:mad:

Personal Question:why do u have 2 mexican teams as your foes and none in you support:confused:

Because those two specific teams think they're the best thing in the world. They're arrogant. They're good, but still arrogant. No one should be arrogant like they are, the other mexican teams are ok, but not those.

no surprise if u were watching that match.
schalke was juz blindly crossing balls in the box.
freiburg look more dangerous at the counter than any of schalke's attack

and it's really no shame to lose to Freiburg. they have been the better team in each of their first 4 games except maybe the Stuttgart game. They even outplayed Leverkusen when they lost 0-5, if that makes any sense.

According to diverse sources, Schalke is in serious financial trouble at the moment (despite Gazprom's millions).

Well, I've already predicted this a few years ago...

Have to admit, that match was typical Schalke. REALLY need 3 points in Cologne (where they never seem to play very well) before getting into the tough part of the first round.
