Would be a good reinforcement, wonder why he didn't play much with River (not even a few matches I believe)...

Re: SC - Transfer Thread 2010

Well we may just have improved considerably at right back and maybe left back. If this is anything like with Albarracin at Boys then we're set. We apparently just signed Mark Hinze from Hamburg. Free transfer. Yay :)

He is 19, categoria 91. 1,78 height. Born May 2, 1991 in Hamburg, Germany to Peruvian parents.

He plays all of the midfield (offensive and defensive) and was used as a right back in Hamburg apparently, at least for this past season. He can use both feet equally well so he should be able to play left-back as well. He started at Wedeler TSV, moved to St Pauli in 2002, and then moved to Hamburg in 2008. He has only gone up so he obviously has talent and has been raised in German football so he should be good.

He was a regular in Hamburg's U-19 last season, no assists or goals though. Played right back, 4 sub appearances and 11 starts.

Re: SC - Transfer Thread 2010

You might be expecting too much from Hinze, I doubt he is going to instantaneously improve SC's defence. For starters Depor says that he is an offensive mid (although they might be wrong or maybe the kid changed positions - http://depor.pe/noticia/506293/rivera-asegura-que-fatalidad-afecta-su-trabajo-cristal). Assuming that they got it wrong, there is still a high chance that he will start in the bench first and slowly progress as Albarracin would if he went to a big club right after returning to Peru.

Hope I am wrong and that he is becomes an younger version of Rainer Torres. You can't help but wonder why he came to Peru on trial after being a regular for HSV's U-19 team though...

exactly and R Torres seemed a bust when he came back

shown the door by la U after half a season or something like that, I think he played lateral or something for them

Chemo rescued his carrear at SC

Re: SC - Transfer Thread 2010

He was a regular in U-19, but his amateur contract ended now and he apparently couldn't cut it anymore, not good enough for HSV II or the first team. Doesn't mean he can't be good, Albarracin couldn't get a game in the first team and that was in Finland I think right? Oh and he regularly played offensive mid before, but can also play defensive mid, and last season was a right-back with the U-19. Jack of all trades, Master of no art I guess. We could use one of those.

And I probably am expecting too much, but like I said I hope he goes the recent route of Albarracin. Albarracin did it in a smaller team, but at Cristal our right backs are Valverde and his back-up Cancar or Wenche. Left back is Reyes or Wenche. If he is any good he can come in as a starter at left-back or a sub at DM or right back. In offensive mid he has no spot I don't think.
