Manonne with a bit of a howler that allows Nasri's shot to literally trickle over the line. Damn.

City with their tails up now. I wouldn't be surprised if they steal it despite playing poorly for most of the match.

    4 minutes of stoppage time.

Once an Arse always an Arse.

To be fair - Nasri hit that well from 8 yards out albeit right at Mannone. Should still have held the ball though.

Well, not as good as it could have been, but City still drop points in one of their games in hand. Based on how they played today, I could see them dropping more points before the end of the season.

Better than most people would have hoped. Sunderland may give Chelsea a hard time next week as well. Let's hope so.

A draw is good enough for Sunderland. A draw with Chelsea and win the other 3, and we are champions.

I'll take that result. We've got our breathing room now and the pressure switches firmly back on the chavs.

Additionally, Palace's survival is assured now - eases their worries and hopefully turns down the pressure we'll face at Selhurst.

What a pair of results, and a cautionary tale for Liverpool ahead of the Norwich game. Take nothing for granted.

Also, my math may be wrong, but I think the Everton loss means that if we win one more, or tie two of the last four games that we are assured of at least champs league. Kind of crazy how tight it is at the top this year...

Exactly. Let's get out and drop 6 on Norwich to get our GD up - this could go to the last day.

Nice use of the over-drive by Bale to put Madrid up one with a few minutes left.

What a football Wednesday. Sunderland should have ran away with that match but I'll take it at 1 point. and hope that Chelsea can do as well as Sunderland.

Everton, I couldn't care less about but I do care about Crystal Palace. That's 4 on the trot, punching above their weight. One to watch for.
Lets go for not needing points when we play them...:)

Palace is safe - they're on 40 points, 10 points above the drop with 4 to go.

Brutal. They really deserved to win, they played a great first half and the two goals were perfect. Oh well. Still a good result.

I'm not going to be able to handle these last few weeks. The closer we get to the finish, the harder it is. I've said a lot of bad things about Tony Pulis and I want to try to reverse karma before we play them. He's a genius. Greatest manager with the greatest playing style, coaching methods, and sideline outfits. He makes no name clubs into household names across the world and I'm mystified as to why he hasn't been offered national team jobs in Brazil or Spain.
