Took a while for Ittihad to get into it. The turning point was the introduction of Fahad al-Muwallad in the second half. He brought pace and energy into the team. That boy has a bright future.

guys........i watch most of te al hilal games by streaming when um nt in ksa..........bt a thing noticed about league in the saudi football is the kit ..................... i dont know why ........take al nassr and al ettifaq for example...why do their main team kit sponsors differs from goalkeepers kits...??.....any answers........cuz it creates a huge confusion......today my british friend also pointed that.......!!!

I think this is going to be an open season. Shabab and Ahli have strengthened from last season, Nassr are also looking decent. Ittihad and Hilal will be up there despite the slow start.

Well now.. Fateh are top (!!) after beating Shabab 4-2 away (!!!)
Hilal beat Nassr 3-1 in the Riyadh derby. Maturana was sacked right after (plus ca change)
Ittihad beat Hajr 2-0 and Ahli beat Wehda 2-1 keeping the race tight.
Already shaping to be one of the most interesting seasons in years.

If Ittifaq could have continued the same form they did in the last season then it would have been more and more interesting...But for now, Fateh have showed the other teams that retaining the coach for a longer time give sweet fruits one day..They are the new power house in the league but to stick to it that other teams specially Hilal and Nasser dont rob them by buying out there main players.

fateh...they surprised me a lot............!!!..their midfiled is perfect......and is impresed with their striking.........but it will be hilal inshallah...
